Professional Acumen in Religious Organizations
Apply practiced collaboration to education, service, and administration.
An actual service
Choose teaching, volunteer work, community service, or an administrative problem. Identify participants, obligations, resources, anticipated consequences, and consequential gaps.
Differing interpretations
People can work toward compatible goals while retaining different beliefs. Professional Acumen examines relationships and consequences; it does not establish religious truth or replace a community’s teachings.
Governance and funding
Examine contribution and benefit, authority and responsibility, and cost and result. Make decision pathways understandable. Develop paid services or products where a real need and defined deliverable support them.
